Late October improvements: a contractor's public registries, the clauses of a late budget, one help hub

The RBQ licence check also shows the contractor's public registries, CondoAide reads the declaration's clauses on contributions when the budget is late, help lives in one place, and the assistant connects to Cursor and VS Code.

Here are the other improvements that arrived in late October, each in a few lines.

A contractor's public registries

When the board checks a contractor's RBQ licence, in "Vendors", a "Public registries" block is added to the licence status:

  • a listing in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts (RENA), flagged as a warning;
  • environmental sanctions;
  • public contracts won, according to the electronic tendering system (SEAO).

Each source is dated and quoted as published. A mere name match is shown as a lead to verify, never as a conclusion.

The clauses of a late budget

When the fiscal year's budget is not adopted yet, what do co-owners pay? Many declarations of co-ownership say: they keep paying the previous year's contribution, and the new contribution is payable from a set date.

CondoAide now reads these two clauses in the declaration, with the article and page where to check them. They appear in the declaration review and on the "Contributions paid before the budget was adopted" card, in "Syndicate settings". The board confirms or sets aside each clause; nothing applies without its decision.

The register: missing postal addresses

In the register checklist, the "Co-owner postal addresses" item now counts the co-owners with no postal address and opens the member list on them, with the "Missing postal address" filter. The building's by-laws item is checked as soon as a declaration of co-ownership is filed in the register, since the by-laws are part of it (art. 1052 CCQ).

A board meeting, from its minutes

From the minutes of a board meeting, at the meeting step, "Propose dates" starts a poll among the directors, and the chosen date fills in on its own. A virtual meeting shows its link, and the calendar offers to join the meeting.

Also

  • One help hub: the guides now have two tabs, "By task" and "By screen". The old user guide leads there, and search also finds screens.
  • Cursor and VS Code now connect to the CondoAide connector without a token, like Claude: you authorize access once, from the editor.
  • The profile photo can be framed before it is saved, with zoom and a preview at real sizes ("Frame the image").
  • The syndicate switcher of a property manager or a phased complex now shows a tree: the firm, its syndicates, then each initial syndicate and its phases.
