Article 1070.2 requires the board of directors to have a maintenance logbook established, describing the maintenance done and to be done on the immovable, to keep it up to date and to have it revised periodically. Its form and content are set by regulation.
The maintenance logbook is a planning tool: it documents the maintenance history and the work to anticipate, supporting management of the common portions and the contingency-fund study.
This obligation comes from Bill 16; the regulatory standards for the logbook's form and content come into force on a staggered basis.
CondoAide keeps the maintenance logbook in the register, current and time-stamped, alongside service contracts and the maintenance history. Establishing it to the applicable standards may require a professional; CondoAide does not certify it.
