Frequently asked questions about pricing
Is there a free plan?
Yes. CondoAide is free forever for condos with 5 units or less. No credit card required.
Can the syndicate have its own email address?
Yes. Every paid plan includes an email address in the syndicate’s name, for example conseil@lesjardins.condoaide.ca. The board uses it to send and receive the syndicate’s email. When the board changes, the address and the history of its exchanges stay with the syndicate: nothing leaves with the personal mailbox of someone who steps down. No law requires a syndicate to have its own address, but it makes handovers easier and helps the syndicate protect the personal information the board receives. The Free plan does not include it.
Can I try paid plans before committing?
Absolutely. Every paid plan includes a 60-day free trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial period.
How does billing work?
You can choose monthly or annual billing. The annual plan offers approximately 17% savings compared to the monthly rate. Taxes are extra.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time. The change is applied immediately and the difference is prorated.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. Payment is secure and processed by Stripe.
Is pre-authorized debit (PAD) for cotisations included?
PAD is included for the first 10 units on the Management plan and the first 20 on Pro; above that it's $2 per additional unit per month on Management and $1.50 on Pro. On the Starter plan, PAD is available as an option at $3 per unit per month. Bank transaction fees are absorbed by CondoAide.
How does PAD condo-fee collection work?
Each co-owner authorizes their own pre-authorized debit (PAD) mandate online. CondoAide then debits the cotisation every month on the agreed date, with advance notice per Payments Canada rules, and automatically reconciles the payment against the cotisation ledger. No manual data entry, and bank transaction fees are absorbed by CondoAide.
