An announcement can now ask questions that co-owners answer directly in CondoAide. The board sees responses by unit, overall results and the units that have not answered yet, without compiling an email thread by hand.
Several questions per announcement
Add a survey while writing an announcement and choose the right answer type for each question:
- one choice from a list of options;
- yes or no;
- a short text;
- a number, with an optional minimum, maximum or unit of measure.
Questions and choices can be written in French and English so every co-owner reads them in their interface language. You can require an answer and set a survey deadline.
One clear response per unit
Each addressed unit submits one response. When a unit has several co-owners, a new response replaces the previous one and clearly identifies who saved it. A response can also include additional details and a PDF or image attachment.
Co-owners can change their response until the deadline or until the board closes the survey.
Results ready to review
The board sees responses by unit, totals for choice and yes-or-no questions, and the list of units with no response on the announcement page. It can close the survey when it is finished, making every response read-only.
A survey helps consult co-owners and collect information. It does not replace a formal vote or a decision made under the rules that apply to your syndicate.
