Article 1070 of the Civil Code requires the syndicate to keep an up-to-date register available to the co-owners. It holds their contact information, minutes, financial statements, the maintenance logbook and the contingency-fund study, among other records.
The register is the co-ownership's central file: the syndicate must be able to produce it on request to a co-owner or a prospective buyer.
Since Bill 16, its required contents have grown (maintenance logbook, contingency-fund study, description of the private and common portions), which makes a paper register hard to keep current.
CondoAide centralises these documents and logs who accesses them, so the register stays complete, time-stamped and available at all times.
