Here are the other improvements that arrived in October, each in a few lines.
A Law 25 page for the board
The syndicate's personal information work was spread over eight screens. "Law 25", in the "Legal" group of the menu, brings it together on one board-only page, "Personal information protection":
- To handle: issued invoices and register documents whose retention period has ended, register consultation requests with no answer, and access or correction requests with the date the written answer is due (30 days, art. 32 LPRPSP).
- What is in place: the person in charge of the protection of personal information, the governance policy and external roles, each with a link to change it.
- What happened: the latest destructions and consultations recorded in the register's journal.
Nothing is destroyed from this page: each decision is made on the screen that owns it.
The same page leads to the confidentiality incident register, which the law requires every syndicate to keep (art. 3.8 LPRPSP). The board records each incident, its assessment of the risk of serious injury and the notices sent, and can produce a PDF to hand to the Commission d'accès à l'information on request.
A note on a budget line
A budget line can now carry a note, for example to explain that this year's expert fees cover both the renewal of the reserve fund study and the building's valuation for insurance. "Add a note" is offered on each expense line, and the note appears under the line, on the budget page and in the budget PDF sent to co-owners.
Change plans from Billing
A subscribed syndicate can now move to another plan from "Billing", with "Switch plan", whether it pays by card or by bank debit. Messages saying that a feature is included in another plan, such as the AI summary of meetings, lead to the same place.
Two new bank statement formats
The transaction import now reads Banque Nationale PDF statements, and the TD BanqueNet activity page printed to PDF. A statement the import refuses, or a file it cannot read yet (.ofx, .qfx, .qif, .xls), can be sent to CondoAide support in one click, so that we add its format.
Amending deeds to read
When the syndicate files an amending deed or an additional declaration in the register, the "Declaration" tab lists it as a document to read, and a counter shows on the tab and on "Syndicate settings" in the menu. Reading stays the board's decision: nothing is read until a director asks for it.
Also
- A unit's page now shows the residence first, in seven tabs, with its links in view.
- A logo for every syndicate: until the board uploads its own, CondoAide generates one from the syndicate's initials. It appears in emails, in the browser tab and on a phone's home screen.
- "Service status", in the site footer and on the support page, leads to the public page that shows whether CondoAide is working normally, and announces maintenance.
