You can now pay your CondoAide subscription by pre-authorized debit (PAD/ACSS Debit) directly from the syndicate's operating bank account. No more pulling out the treasurer's personal card or filing an expense report every month.
How to enable it
- Go to Settings → Payment method
- Pick "Pay by bank account"
- Enter the syndicate's bank details (institution, transit, account) and accept the mandate (Payments Canada Rule H1 compliant)
A 2-to-3 business day micro-deposit verification follows the initial authorization. During that window, your free trial or existing subscription continues normally.
Worth knowing
- The mandate is tied to the syndicate's bank account, not the treasurer — it survives board rotations
- Revocable at any time from your billing settings, free of charge
- Banking details handled directly by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1)
- Credit card remains available if you prefer immediate activation
