A new public tool joins the Tools page: the AGM quorum calculator.

Enter the relative values of your fractions as stated in your declaration of co-ownership, mark who is present, represented or absent, and the calculator gives the verdict: quorum reached or not at first call (majority of the votes, art. 1089 CCQ), what would happen at the reconvened meeting, and the article 1097 floor for the weightiest decisions.

It also shows the voting majorities this attendance puts within reach: ordinary decisions (art. 1096 CCQ), decisions at three quarters of the votes present (art. 1097 CCQ), and the article 1098 CCQ double majority, which is measured against all co-owners — an absentee counts as a vote against.

A co-owner deprived of their voting rights (art. 1094 CCQ) is removed from the calculation and the total is reduced accordingly, never redistributed (art. 1099 CCQ) — the same arithmetic as CondoAide's meeting engine, against which the calculator is parity-tested.

Every configuration has its own address: share the link and the other person sees the same verdict. For the full reasoning, see the AGM quorum guide.
